How it connects today

Official app not listed yetWorks today: webhooks and HTTP requests

There is no Clinch app for Slack yet. It works today by sending Clinch webhooks through Zapier, Make, n8n or Activepieces into a Slack message step.

Three recipes

  • #sales: "Acme just signed"

contract.signed → Slack message with the client name, contract title and signed date.

  • #finance: "Invoice paid"

invoice.paid → Slack message with the amount, so nobody has to check the bank.

  • #leads: new inquiry

inquiry.created → Slack message with budget and project type, so whoever is free can reply first.

Set it up

  1. Create a webhook trigger in your automation tool (Zapier Catch Hook, Make Custom webhook, n8n Webhook node).
  2. Paste its URL in Clinch under Settings → Integrations and pick the events.
  3. Add a Slack "Send channel message" step and map the fields you want in the text.
  4. Click Send test in Clinch to see the message arrive, then switch the automation on.

Questions

Is there a Clinch app in the Slack App Directory?

Not yet. The webhook route above works today with any automation tool that can post to Slack.

Can I point the webhook straight at a Slack incoming webhook?

Not directly: Slack expects its own message format, so an automation step in between formats the text.

Which plan do I need?

Webhooks are part of Clinch Pro.
