Clinch lets you draft contracts, send them for electronic signature, and collect deposits. Signatures collected through Clinch are Simple Electronic Signatures (SES) under ESIGN (US) and eIDAS (EU) — not Qualified Electronic Signatures. See /legality for what that does and doesn't cover.
Clinch is not a law firm. Templates and AI-drafted contracts are starting points, not legal advice — review them, and consult a lawyer for anything unusual or high-stakes before sending.
You're responsible for the accuracy of what you send, and for keeping your account credentials secure. You own the contracts you create; we only process them to run the service.
Don't use Clinch to send phishing, fraudulent, or deceptive documents, to impersonate someone else, or to collect signatures without the signer's knowledge. Every account's first document is automatically screened, and every sign page has a "Report this document" link. Accounts that abuse the signing flow will be suspended.
The free plan is free, indefinitely, within its published limits. Pro is billed by Stripe at $15/month or $120/year and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your account settings — no fees, no retention calls.
Deposits collected through a document you send go directly to your own connected Stripe account or your own payment link. Clinch never holds or takes a cut of your clients' payments.
We aim for reliable uptime but the service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, particularly the acceptable use section above.
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
